The 1990 325's had a belt driven cam which requires replacement periodically.
Also, the compressors on the AC were weak and went bad on a regular basis.
His asking price sounds high as I have seen well maintained E36's go for half
that, albeit with more miles. I'd keep looking unless he's willing to come
down to wholesale on it.
Just one E30 buyers opinion.
