<E30> One more quest on high NOx

After more investigation by the technician,  It was determined that (by him)
the cat was good and everything
beginning from the back of cat to end of tail pipe was horribly bad and
needed to be replaced.  I agree due to horrible sound.
But would that fix a NOx problem that is 2x the legal limit in GA?
