OEM Alarm going crazy?

I have a 94 e36 with the factory alarm... (hood sensor, sound sensor) it
seems that after i park it goes off for no reason once or maybe twice..
youi have to tap the glass really hard with metal to get it to go off..
today the weather is nice so it is not rain... could the brain be going
crazy what are the options here.. thanks
