E36 3 Series Brake Question

Hi,
I just bought a '95 325is...every now and then, my OBC comes up w/ a "Brake
Light Circuit" message and my check light comes on. Usually, the next time I
start the car, it goes away and stays away for a while. What exactly does
this mean? If it's a fuse...what fuses correlate w/ the brake lights? Does
anyone have a listing of fuses and their corresponding function for this car?
