Windsheild options - 89 735i?

I cracked my windshield on the 89 735i.  Replacement cost on the glass alone 
is $450.00.  I was told because it is a heated glass and that a non heated 
glass was not made for that year.  No one will confirm a substitution glass. 
  Does anyone know a replacement glass make, model and year that I can use 
that won't kill the budget?
