Scratchy radio volume control...

The radio volume control on my original BMW radio is
scratchy...I assume it's due to dust accumulation on
the rheostat.  Is there any way to effectively clean
the thing without needing to take the radio completely
apart, then dissasemble the rheostat?  (I'm just
lookin' for a miracle 'cause I don't have lotsa time)
