e36 Rear Tire Wear

'96 e36 328i sedan with about 70k miles. Tires were
new when I purchased at 46k miles. Inside edge (1")
of rear tires are showing pretty severe wear...no
tread on right side and down to the belts on the left
side. I know BMW's tend to wear the inside due the
camber but this seems excessive.
Any suggestions on what to check?
