gear ratio change

Hi,
I live in the bay area, ca and I was wondering if anyone know a place that
does gear ratio changes? I found a place called Korman that does it but it is
out of state. I would prefer somewhere closer so I can drop my car off. If
anyone got any info of a place a response would be greatly appreciateed.
