Fuel Injector cleaners

Gentle people,

My dealer tells me my wife's '92 735i's stumbling and hesitation when cold
is caused by "excessive carbon deposits on intake valves." The fix, he
claims, is "carbon blast intake valves" for $530, but that "running injector
cleaner may help."

Anybody know of a good injector cleaner that costs less than $530?
