Not to stop you from getting an alarm, but a lock cylinder rebuild kit that
should fix all of your problems is roughly $30 from the dealer. Come with
some spare lock cylinder parts, tumblers and grease. Takes a couple of hours
to get to the cylinder, another hour to rebuild and perhaps 20 minutes to
put it back in. Should take 1/3 of that time second time around.
