e36 electrical nuisances

i took my 95 318i convertible in for service and to have top replaced, since
i got it back whenever i hit a bump in the road all four windows go down
about 3 inches. 

there's also some weirdness with the cruise control (engages but won't
maintain speed) and the back lighting on the temperature control (blinks off
when i adjust it).

any chance that there's one electrical problem causing all of this.  or that
something fishy happened while the car was being serviced? as i said none of
that was happening before i took it in.

it's going back to the shop in a week, but i'd like to hear your ideas.

oh yeah, also, the clock and obc display are unreadable, day or night.
anyway to reverse the lighting?

i used to get lost in the shuffle now i just shuffle
along with the lost.
