Why do they squeal??

I put new brakes on my 1987 528e about two weeks ago.  I thought this 
problem might go away because there might be a break in period.  Well, it 
seems that this is not going to happen.  Can ANYONE tell me or give advice 
on why my new rotors and pads are squeaking at low speeds when stopping or 
slowing?  It is driving me insane!!!
