Sounds like you stress the car a good bit. Not a bad thing-- I used to
auto-x and do drivers schools, etc myself, so BTDT. Have you checked for
stress-related damage to the calipers, their mountings, or of all things, the
pedal bracket?? I once had symptoms of air in a clutch line that turned out
to a cracked pedal bracket.
Brake, don't break...
