theft prevention of roundels??

Hi listers,
I had my first theft of a roundel yesterday ('87 E30)--annoying to say
the least. I wondered if anyone had experience with roundel theft
prevention, maybe by epoxying the replacement into the grommets--or is
that inviting worse damage to the paintwork if they try to pry it out?
Any advice?
