Brett,
The V8 Nikasill block is the big draw back on a 1994.  If the block has been
replaced with Alusil the problem is eliminated.

Also the clutch slave cylinder has a fluid restriction that slows the clutch
release.  This can cause clutch wear with enthusiastic driving styles.

I am just starting to gather information regarding the possibility of me
purchasing a 1994 540i BMW.
Here is what I know:
One Owner
Auto
fully loaded
I have seen it from a distance, but I have not been able test drive it yet.
I am looking to the list for ALL pros and Cons.  Basically, the I need to be
educated on the 540i.  I currently drive a 1987 528e.
All information is gladly welcomed!!
