It is probably the trip computer light that has gone out. There a full
instructions on replacement at http://www.bavauto.com/inst/ As well as PDF
files (need free Adobe Acrobat Reader, which there is also a link on the
page) other topics as well. It is a relatively simple process. Also Greg's
