Ben,

I would recommend getting a copy of both of these books below.  They are
indispensable - I use them all the time.  The first one is about $55-60, but
well worth it.  The second is about $18-20.

Also join the BMW CCA.  www.bmwcca.org.  For $35 you get a yearly membership
with an excellent monthly magazine.
