Yep, the profile gasket on the M42 engine. They all let go around 70K miles.
Figure in around $1300 on top of the sales price if the car has the original
profile gasket.

Not unless you either: a). miss the shirt and go into 1st; b). downshift at
speed that will drive your engine well pass the redline (kinda defeats the
purpose of downshifting).
