brake rotors

I have a 92 325i and am replacing the rear rotors with the oem. What are
good ways to coax the old rotors off without destroying associated pieces.
Last time I had to take old rotors off a car it was a two day ordeal that
only ended when a sledgehammer and wrecking bar were employed. This was on a
rabbit. I really don't want to have to do this to my Bimmer. Any help is
appreciated. Thanks.
