Have I got a check control connections problem ? The brake light circuit
failure

I've had this message intermittently for about a year on my '94 325i. But
on mine, the lamps still function.
The dealer says it's caused by a defective brake light switch, which sounds
plausible. Apparently there was a service bulletin covering some years or
models, but mine wasn't one of them. A new switch is the cure.
