Has anyone used the Peake Research R5/FCX tool which resets the Service Indicator and reads fault codes? Is the fault code readout really useful to the amateur? I do minor repairs myself and leave the hard jobs to the shop. The fault code tool costs $149 and the SI reset-only tool costs $50. Is it worth the difference?
