hydro-plane control regain

Hydro-planing recovery can be enhanced by inflating the rear tires at least
2 psi more than the front.  If front and rear have the same tires & tread
depth, and the car is well balanced, the least pressurized tires will
aqua-plane first.
  Losing control of the steerable front wheels allows an astute driver the
chance at regaining control.  However, if the non-controlable rear wheels
lose it first, the chances of recovery are greatly reduced.
