Stiff clutch pedal is often the result of a broken thrust tab on the side
of the throw-out bearing. Continued use of the assynetric thrusting
throw-out bearing can result in master cylinder mount failure as well as
hydraulic failures, and accelerated wear on the pressure plate & T/O
bearing guide sleeve.
