sunroof won't close completely

The sunroof in my '88 735i won't close completely.  It functions normally=
 when
closing except it will stop about 1/2 inch before closing completely.  To=

close it, I have to push in on the button as if wanting it to tilt open. =
 The
tilt option doesn't work either.  Is this a bad switch, relay or what?
