Longevity of the E36

I have a 1994 318 with 130k.  With proper maintenance I believe that the V6
should be able to last at least 200k.  Mine hasn't given me many problems
and I don't baby my car,(as you can see by the mileage) or have it in the
shop constantly for routine maintenance.  (I have my oil changed every 5k
instead of every 3,000.  But don't abuse your investment in this way, I have
been very lucky.)
