Re: cleaning ICV



I don't recommend WD-40 as a lube, but it cleans things very well - that's
why it sucks so much as a lube. It tends to wash oil away. I use it to clean
my hands before using a mild soap - works great!

Plus I also have about 2 gallons of CRC (same as WD-40 pretty much)

I think the valve is designed to operate dry, so the wd-40 wil evaporate
after about 20 minutes of running probably. It will leave a light coating
though. There was a lot of dirty CRC coming out the other side of the valve
:-)
