<E34> Cutting out/Dying - Need Help

Hey guys, I need some help.....

The reader's digest version -   Car is a '92 525i.

- - two weeks ago the car died with a fried DME - $1065

- - week ago, the car started cutting out.

	- replaced an arcing coil (along with worn plugs) - thought I had
it. - $100

- - Last night died again.  BMW shop said swap out idle control valve and
main relay.  Did not believe the control valve it but did it any way. ($330
total)

- - Still cutting out.

Car has to get warm.  Gets progressively worse and within a couple of miles
it won't run.  After cooling down will run for a varying amount of time.
CHECK ENGINE light flashes as it cuts out.

Anyone had a similar problem and could share your solution?
