Hi, Robert.
First place to look is at the cut-out switches associated
with the brake and clutch pedals. It is not uncommon for
them to 'fall out of adjustment', and not allow the cruise
function to engage.
A terrible thought: the sub-frame that mounts the pedals
and the clutch master cylinder flexes, fatigues and breaks
on these guys. If it has, the clutch will feel 'funny'
(big help, I know!) and the cut-out switch will be impossible
to adjust. If you have to go there, drop me another note,
and I can talk you through _that_ one!
Good luck! Larry F.
ps: please note the subject line, complete with series
number in it, to help us skimmers! lf
