Cross Country (Southern Route)Pt II

The part II of this post, I forgot to ask about highway patrols in the
various states along the southern route.  We will be passing through
Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and
North Carolina.
Any information on State Troopers and radar usage will be greatly
appreciated. It looks like I will be investing in a Valentine for this
trip.  Is that the consensus?  Thanks again.
