Hi Marc, 

I think the top position of the fuel tank sender is below the fluid level
in a full tank. I've noticed that after I fill up it takes quite a while
before my fuel gauge starts to move at all. Same with the OBC (I got it to
read fuel level again today - more about that soon). In my car it showed
47.5 for a full tank.
