Rattling noise in E36 M3 engine

Hi fellow digester..
I just notice that my car develop a rattling noise in the engine
you can hear it when it reach around 1500 rpm and gone when it reach above 
1500 rpm
I try to look under the hood but I didn't found anything. When it's not hot 
the engine
doesn't make that noise, but when it's fully warmed up it started to make 
the sound
what could be the problem?
Well it's a 95 M3 and right now it has 31k miles on it

Any thoughts anybody?
