I take it that the vibration is felt on the steering?  This then is a very
common problem with BMW's.  Common complaints is that it will vibrate
between 50 to 60 mph and disappears at higher speeds.  It can be resolved
but will take a very experienced mechanic to sort out.

You can try dynamic wheel balancing, and some brands/models of tyres can
solve the problem (like the S class)

Your car is nearly 10 years old, so you might want to look into things like
the wheel bearings, couplings and steering system as well.
