Can't help with the first so I didn't reprint it. However, the little black
switch (LBS) in the dome light (DL) itself does break. Push the little
metal tab (the LMT) on the end of the dome light (EOTDL) in to release the
DL. Turn the DL over and examine the action of the LBS when you move it
through the series of three detents (SOTD). If the contacts do not move in
any way, shape or form (WSOF) you need a new DL. The LBS frequently sheds
the contact movers (CM) cause a fail to operate state (FTOS).
I apologize for all the acronyms (IAPFATA). I was working with some heavy
duty engineer types (HDET) today and they have really twisted my mind
(TMM). I should be okay in a day or two (DOT).
