Won The Inaguaral PORSCHE BMW CHALLENGE AT WILLOWSPRINGS THIS LAST WEEKND>
FINISHING 1-2

SAT;
James Sofronas Driving the ESE #14 M3 lightweight , Took the overall Win In
his Class. against a field of some 35 Porsche's ....Taking the lead at the
start and dominated the entire race.
Doug Ota another member Of ESE. Started the race in 4th position In his 95 M3
car #58. and fought the entire race taking second place on the last lap,
passing the 911 carrera by 1/2 car..

Sunday;

James is bumped up to the highest class against the gt2 spec 993 twin turbos
and the rsr 3.8s, as well as a host of 400+hp 944 turbo's
Being the only  BMW in the entire field james starts 19th, out 41 cars,and
finsihes 9th overall.

Time trial Shootout,,,, James in Car #14 also Had the fastest Time of the day
in His class Winning the time trial shootout

The BMW Did not have a very good showing considering....... there were only 4
BMW 's entered total.........against some 85 Porsche entries.........
