2002 blown fuses

OK, so I haven't blown that many fuses yet, but I am on my way.  Car is a
'69 '02. Every time I begin to drive the car, I blow the Flashers/Brake
light/Reverse light fuse.  When the car is stationary and running there is
no problem, including activating any of these lights and all of their
combinations.  Within a minute of driving the fuse always blows. My
suspicion is that it is related to either the transmission or the steering.
I need to track down this short so I am not a menace to the driving
community.  Has anyone had a similar problem or have any good ideas where to
start tracing this short?
