Tii engines can not be lifted high enough to get the pan to clear the oil
pump without major problems because of the intake horns against the
firewall.
I lay a 4x4 across the fenders and attach a small chain to the front
lift location. Undo the motor mounts, stick a 2x4 under the 4x4 to lift
the motor a bit, then undo the front subframe and lower. or remove it
totally exposing the pan.
Chances are the oil pan gasket may not be the source of you leakage.
Look twice. unbolt once.
