OK. That's sort of what I was going to say.

So WRT the BMW, the CRC in the OBC reads the data ABS and computes the MPH
and the BIMWAD behind the wheel knows nothing is going on until the DIL
(Damned Idiot Light) comes on during the ERH (Error Handling Routine)?
