<E36> LCD Display

I have a 92 E36 325i with 73K miles. My LCD display had been replaced
before due to partly disappearing display , obviously when the car was
under warranty. Now that the car is out of warranty, is there a way to fix
this aside from replacing the whole unit itself? Thanks in advance
