Inspection II and 36K mile Service Warranty

Hello,
Will BMW dealers agree to do the Inspection 2 on my 1996 328is at 35,900+
under my 36,000 mile Service Warranty which expires at 36,0000 miles. I
still have one extremely pesk GREEN bar on the indicator showing. I am in
the San Francisco Bay Area.
Is there any exception to their rule?? Please advise...
