California Emissions 633Csi

I have a 1984 633Csi that is a California
emissions vehicle.  This causes several
problems, most notably stalling while iding
in gear before the car has completely warmed
up.  I know that non-California cars do not
have this same problem.  My question is,
does anyone know (for sure) what I have
to change to "un-California-ize" my car?

I believe the necessary changes would
stop the car from running so lean as is
necessary to meet the California emissions,
but I'm not positive of this, nor do I know
what all would have to be changed to
cure this problem.

Any help would be appreciated.
