All E30 325i, iS cars were equipped with a factory oil cooler. The system can
be retrofitted to ETA engines by replacing the oil filter bolt on the block
with a 325i oil filter head and 325i oil filter head bolt. If you have a pre
86 ETA car, you have to custom mount the oil cooler because there are no
mounting points on the pre 86 core support. It's not a difficult mod but the
parts aren't cheap.
US '88 E30 sedans had aluminum bumpers with 3 piece fillers (black) and
shorter shocks.
