heated seats 95 540is?

	I own a 95 540is and would like to add heated seats to it, the local dealer
says it can not be done to due product liability issues as it was not  set up
with proper wiring at assembly and installation could be an electrical hazard.
	The parts specialist seems to believe that late model E34 and E36 cars
have the heating pads installed in all the sport seats and i would need to
purchase
a short wiring harness and switch for each seat but can get no advice from
the service dept. as  they say it cannot be done due to liability issues.
	My 95 M3 had heated seats and once if have used them on cold mornings
you are spoiled for life. if anyone has some input or can reccommend a
specialist i can contact it wuold be much appreciated.
	Also what is the reccommened choice (brand) for a short shift kit for
the 6speed transmission for performance street driving and any hints on
aftermarket exhaust from you performance gurus would make my life
complete.
