Preventing your M3 rotors from warping...
Replace the stock front rotors with the Euro rotors. You can get them
for the same price as the stock U.S. rotors and the aluminum hubs help
dissipate heat much better. Also, after pulling into the pits after a
long run make sure you don't come to a complete stop with the brakes or
emergency brake. Let the car roll a few feet forward without the brakes
on and then stop the car with the clutch only.
But even more importantly - for the next 5-10 minutes after pulling into
the pits, release the clutch about every minute and the car roll
forward/backward about a foot. This allows the rotor to cool evenly. The
area of the rotor directly under the caliper/pads will cool much more
slowly than the rest of the rotor. By moving the rotor every few minutes
it will cool evenly.
Rotor warpage is not caused by the heat - it's caused by uneven cooling.
