Falken vs. Pirelli

FWIW, I can draw a comparison (on a SAAB) between the Pirelli P7000 and the
Falken tire with the dimensions you mention below. You can save about $90 per
tire using the Falkens, but you give up a great deal of sidewall stiffness for
it.

Cornering and stability of the Falkens is fairly imprecise, compared to the
Pirelli, but they do seem very smooth in a straight line on the highway. In a
word, "mushy."

If the cost savings matter more to you than the ultimate performance envelope,
the Falkens are a great buy.

Need to know of any experience or opinions of Falken tires, specifically
their Ziex ZE-502. Need size 205/50/16 and it appears that there are not a
lot to choose from.
...
Any suggestions of other tires are welcome. Thanks.
