535i windscreen wiper

Its most likely that the previous owner has had the linkage disconnected
for some reason and when it was put back the adjustment is out.
To fix:  Disconnect linkage from wiper motor, then activate the motor by
pushing DOWN on the wiper lever on the steering wheel (only 1 wipe, this
just makes sure the motor in the start position), then align the wipers
on the windscreen where you would like them to stop i.e some where
toward the bottom of the windscreen, then connect the linkage back to
the motor.
Easy.
Its also all in the bentley manual.
I had to do this when my motor went dead.
