Hello all:

I'm new to the mailing list and signed on to learn more about BMWs.  I've
been trying to get additional information on 1995 540's and 1995 M5's.
It's my understanding that the 540 in '95 had a 6 speed sport model and a
separate M5 model--  Is this correct?  However, I've also read that many
don't consider the M5 from that year a true M-Car; that is, they consider
it merely a hybrid 540 with M accesories--  Could someone shed some light
on this?
