Call Steve Diamond at 303-516-1221. He can set you up with the lowest
possible prices and also get you a car at that price. But just an FYI, I
can get a '99 E46 323i (this is not the 323is which is still the E36
body style) at my local dealer for $1480,- over invoice without
haggling. This means, take the invoice price of the car (not the MSRP),
add 570 for the destination charge, add all your options' invoice prices
and then add $1480,-. You can get invoice prices at several different
sites on the internet. For example www.carpoint.com, www.kbb.com and
www.edmunds.com. As I said the 1480 over invoice is a pre-haggle price.
According to Edmund's (this information does not figure in KBB - Kelly's
Blue Book, or CarPoint) BMW dealers get a 2% holdback from the
manufacturer.

I went to a local BMW dealer and got a written price quote on a new
323is.
The quote was for a 323is, Blk on Blk leatherette, with sport package,
sound
system, and sunroof.  The total price he gave me was 31K before tax.
What I
wanted to know is, Is that a decent offer?  I would like to find out
before
I went any further.  Can someone who may have gone through this help?  I
am
a first time buyer, so I need all the help I can get.
