Hoosier A3S03 -- autox compound (fwd)

OK, I'm familiar with the R3S03 road racing compound, and the fact that on
the track, its the one to beat. However, the road compound doesn't seem
to have enough time to heat-up in an autox, and its wear rate in autox is
quite high.

Since I haven't used the A3S03, and I don't know anybody who has, could
one of you who has used them comment on how they perform in autocrosses?
If possible, use the venerable R1 as a point of reference. Thanks!
