E30. Stereo. Cannot find continuous power line for radio memory and antenna trigger.

I've managed to install a stereo into my 1989 325 iC.  While this may seem =
to be easy it was difficult on my car owing to my not wanting to add wires =
here and there and the existing wiring harness being trashed by a burglar.

Anyway, I've got all the connections sorted out except:

1. Permanent power - Radio memory.  Currently, the ignition power is fed =
into the permanent power connector so that the radio works!

2. Antenna line - to send the trigger signal to the antenna.  Currently, I =
do not have any antenna, but this is not too bad since the stations I =
listen to do not need one.

Does anyone know what color they should be or something that will help me =
find them in the jungle of wires!

I would also like to check the antenna to see if it works independently of =
the head unit  Perhaps by putting 'fake' signals into its wires right at =
the base of the antenna.  Any suggestions?
