I race with a few people that, off the track, are self-centered pricks - =
on
the
track, they're merely competitors. I rarely feel uncomfortable with
competitors -
the clueless wonders usually end up stuffed in a wall anyway - it's sorta=

like
nature, it's self policing.

It isn't real racing. Any organization that considers a spin an incident=

is a more
concerned about appeasing their insurance company representative than the=

participants. Real racing doesn't mean hitting your competitors, it just=

means that
you won't get punished by Big Brother if you happen to touch fenders.<

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Wow, you realy need some help. BMW club racing, NA=
SA
club racing, is real racing
the comaraderie is outstanding. How great is it to run 10 laps, get a
sweat going , see acouple of spins or close calls
come back to the pits and exchange laughs with your new found friends. =

This sport is amazing. I didnt know anyone, and I left
making several new friends and keeping contact with some over the interne=
t
and meeting in other race events. =

I blew a radiator hose at a PCB Porsche BMW race 15 min. before my race. =

some guy that I didnt even know, comes over
right next to another stranger with a new bottle of watter wetter, and fre=
sh
water. I hate to say it, but I dont think anyone besides just a selec=
t
(well adjusted few) would be that charitable. THESE WERE BMW GUYS TOO
AND I WAS IN A V8 PORSCHE AT THE TIME. So, Club racing is real , its
kind of like college football . We do it because we love it. We do it =
to
make friends and get great memories to last us til the next event. =

some of the cars and Drivers are very evenly matched, no one has a great
financial advantage as almost any car can last for 10 laps, although it i=
s
still tough on the car, even if it is prepared. YOU EVER HEARD of
PROFESSIONAL RACING, IS WON IN THE PITS. GREAT, just what I want to do =
,
have my pit crew win the race. WELL CLUB RACING IS WON ON THE TRACK. =

THATS THE DIFFERENCE.

Are you a racer. or an armchair racer. It takes a hell of a lot more
skill to not hit someone when its your dime than to bump someones fender
because you loose car control. Peter , Gill, and Charles, are instructo=
rs
and great drivers /competitors. I was =

honored to be able to race with them and dice it up. =

Any Questions,

I didnt think so,

check out the videos if you want an entertaining couple of hours of great=

club racng action. watch a free sample of a M3 spining at Thunderhill on
the old track.
